Program 2022-2023
Eligibility Requirements
TO BE CONSIDERED APPLICANTS MUST:

Be graduating from an accredited public or private high school in Northern Virginia, Maryland, or Washington D.C. at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.

Be accepted to, or have applied to, an accredited college or university in the United States as a member of the freshman class.

Plan to enroll in a full-time college program leading to an associate degree or bachelor's degree.
Scholarship Criteria
TO BE CONSIDERED APPLICANTS MUST:

Have a minimum of 2.7 GPA in an academic course of study.

Demonstrate communication skills in a typed essay that describes areas in your life where you demonstrated leadership and overcame obstacles either through your school, social, or family life. OR Explain a family, social, or school situation in which your leadership made a difference. What was accomplished?

Submit a minimum of two written recommendations, including one counselor and one teacher of school administrator.

Submit an official copy of your high school transcript and activities list.

Submit a personal photograph. A graduation picture is acceptable.
